Ready to take your clay game beyond just jewelry?! If so, you're going to love this bookmark cutter! We developed transfer papers to specifically fit this cutter, and boy are they cute!
BOOKMARK CUTTER: About 4.5 inches long and 1.25 inches wide
TRANSFER SHEETS: Each transfer sheet allows you to make 3 bookmarks. Please follow the instructions carefully that are included with your transfer paper.
/INSTRUCTIONS
•Use white or very light colored clay; adhere your clay slab to a tiled surface.
•Place your transfer paper with the bright/colored side down on your clay. It is best to cut your transfer paper to match the size of your clay. We also find it works better when you leave a little edge of raw clay around the perimeter of your transfer paper- this helps the sides of your transfer paper really stick and prevent water from flowing underneath the paper.
•Bray your paper to the clay using a roller. Gently press around the perimeter of your paper to ensure the paper is well adhered on all sides.
•Run your slab under low pressure running water.
•As the water is running, gently rub away the paper with your fingers. You do want to be careful to not rub too hard, or you may smear the ink.
•Let airdry for 10 minutes before cutting into your clay. Bake as usual and seal with your choice of varnish or resin.
